Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and Practice-Oriented Education (POE) are the best ways to develop a global workforce that will succeed in the 21st century. Work experience, combined with classroom education, builds a flexible, resourceful and well-educated workforce.

The 14th World Conference on Cooperative Education will bring together employers, educators, researchers, and civic leaders from more than 40 countries. They will hear:

Faculty discussing their research, the results, and how they integrate the work experience into the classroom

University administrators discussing the strategic impact of WIL on educational policy

Corporate executives explaining the innovative ways WIL enhances their human resource recruitment and development programs

Economic development experts discussing how work-based education programs strengthen workforce development

It is the only time in the next decade that an international group of educators, employers, and government officials will meet in the United States to discuss Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and Practice-Oriented Education (POE). Can you afford to miss it?
