Conference Overview World Association for Cooperative Education

The World Association for Cooperative Education (WACE) is recognized as the leading international organization for bringing academic leaders, corporate executives, government leaders and professional practitioners together in promoting and supporting work-integrated learning worldwide.

Founded in 1983, WACE advocates work-integrated learning as a means to enhance education and forge closer links between educational institutions, students and employers in industry, nonprofit organizations and government. The dynamic global economy demands a more skilled, flexible and experienced workforce. By advancing the awareness and practice of work-integrated learning on a global basis, WACE aims to accelerate the development of strategies that meet the challenges of the 21st century.
